PJSC “Crimean Soda Plant” contributes significantly in Ukraine industry development supplying domestic market with soda ash. It is state of the art highly remunerative manufacturer being indisputable Ukraine leader both in volume and in quality of the material produced. In spite of financial and economic crises the plant develops dynamically increasing production rate and sales volume. These all promotes further production diversification together with environmental and social program evolution.

PJSC “Crimean Soda Plant” is stable and exact in fulfillment of its commitments concerning payments for the needs of social funds and is one of the most important contributors to budgets of Krasnoperekopsk and Autonomous Republic.

The plant produces two types of soda ash: dense – grade A and light – grade B. PJSC “Crimean Soda Plant” is the only producer and exporter of soda ash dense in Ukraine. Soda dense has the same chemical composition and fields of application as the light one but is more advantageous at transportation due to its high density property which protects the material from lumping and dust formation.

Crimean soda ash dense is accepted as the best quality product on the post-soviet terrains. But still tendency for improvement is always preserved. Introduction of modern high-performance filters stimulated production of soda ash with low chloride and iron content, less than 0.2% and 0.002% accordingly.

Over 60% of the volume produced is shipped to the countries of CIS and far abroad. Export is realized to Europe, Asia, America and Africa. In the course of many years the plant is cooperating on stable ground with the world famous companies.

Apart from the main product the plant produces formulation for manufacturing of synthetic detergent “Siayvo”, soda ash in consumer packaging, building lime and table salt.

The joint-stock company is successfully introducing large-scale operations to save energy resources. A steam 6 megawatt turbine was set in operation in 2008 allowing the plant to have its own power and saving of one third of energy cost for acquisition of the latter in market of Ukraine. Installation of high-speed vacuum filters apart from quality improvement significantly reduced moisture content in sodium bicarbonate cake.

Environmental issue is regarded as the most important one. Ammonia soda ash production method doesn’t generate compounds which can be referred to substances of artificial origin or organic chemistry. The main waste water components of soda ash production are calcium and sodium chlorides. These salts are of natural origin as they are formed out of natural raw material that is sodium chloride and lime stone. The plant conducts technological and marketing investigations to convert these waste products into the Goods useful for national economy.
