The plant is located in the north of Crimean peninsula in the town of Krasnoperekopsk.
The joint-stock company ensures almost 80% of the local market needs and over 2% of the global soda ash market demand.
OJSC “Crimean Soda Plant” is a member of "Ostchem Holding" Group which consolidates all chemical assets of "Group DF".
89.99% of the OJSC “Crimean Soda Plant” shareholding belongs to OstChem Germany GmbH (Germany), the associated company of OstChem Holding AG.
Group DF is the owner of 90% of shares of OstChem Holding AG.

A special general stockholders meeting took place on February 10, 2004. As is well known Fi-nancial Company “Clearing House” became the owner of 89,48 % of the state holding of shares in December last year
